This is me being lazy. I'm watching movies faster than I can write -- and I'm starting to realise that I probably don't enjoy writing my opinions on films, which could turn out to be a serious problem for me. …
Mudbound is a good film with a meaningful message about relationships, social hierarchy and tradition. But I wouldn't watch it again, just once is enough.
Phantom Thread was personally my favourite film this Oscar season. I'm definitely getting it on DVD (and in Blu-Ray) when it comes out.
Loving Vincent was such a beautiful film! If it were possible to frame this movie on my wall, I would. Then everyday I'd be able to see a moving Van Gogh painting.
A meaningful film, about anger and compassion, that could have a profound impact on the audience. Frances McDormand will empower you and Sam Rockwell will charm you. Highly recommended!
Gloriously disturbing, completely original and intensely engaging, Old Boy will throw you on an emotional and psychological rollercoaster ride. This is a film that you'd never forget once you've seen it.
A beautiful and poignant film that will continue to haunt you long after it has ended. Fans of Sicario and Hell or High Water will love this film.
